Goals and planning
Why have a goal?
This is an area very many people do not always think so carefully, but it turns out that planning a little in life can be very important. Research where former Harvard students were asked about goals and planning, showed that those who worked purposefully and systematically had accomplished far more than those without any systematic plans and goals.
Most of you have probably seen children and adolescents statements to the media, and old video footage of top athletes. The pattern that recurs is that they clearly say that they will become world champion or Olympic champion when they grow up. It is no coincidence that it is precisely these athletes coming longer. You might also want to stake out some more of the road in your life?
Imagine the goal, whatever it may be as a "geographic location". To achieve this goal you need to define the target's "position", so you can "navigate" the right to reach your goal. The lighthouse is the symbol for the plan and attaining goals, it shows where to go to reach the goal. The purpose of the plan and attaining goals is to incorporate and harp on the plan and goal, so that they form the dominant memory slot with you.
Your goal will eventually be accepted by you both conscious, but not least unconsciously, with the result that you eventually really even believe in the goal. This may sound somewhat strange, but how often have you said something to yourself, but it has not helped yet. The challenge has probably been that you have not believed in the "case" enough, and in most cases, this at the subconscious level, something most people do not realize. You simply have not rehearsed enough to repeat and repeat your goal. We will come back to the coping.
How to define the goal?
It is advantageous to have an ambitious goal, you must have something to strive for. If you add "list" too low, you may find that when you reach it without any issues. But the goal should not be totally unrealistic, then it can quickly discourage you, and you lose the sense of mastery in your way towards the target.
The goal is to be the most specific, and it should be measured in one way or another. That way, you continually evaluate your work, and possibly add adjustments to correct course. At the same time the target is realistic within the given framework conditions that are possible for you. There are very few that will set world records or be Olympic champion, but for some this is realistic.
In other words, the goal should be proportionate to your confidence that the aim should be to create a normal acceptance with you. The secondary objectives will take you step by step and stretch your comfort zone with the main goal, so it is wise to have a long-term, ultimate goal and a goal for the near future.
The aim should therefore have realistic time frames, where you can add targets, milestones and a final main goal.
A distinction is usually between performance and process. A specific target specifies that for example. to win a competition or to achieve a concrete result. The challenge with this type of goal is that the result depends on many factors outside your control, such as. competitors, climate, organizers, etc.
One should therefore be a little careful with just having this type of measurement, as they easily can be distracting, you can not, after all do something eg. weather. Process objectives are goals that describe the relationship you have control over, there may be skills, technique, time and priorities. Process objectives are also called mestringsmål.
Normally, therefore, use both types of targets, where performance measure forms the basis for what to emphasize in the process aims to achieve the profit target. This requires as an analysis of the status of each. today (impact analysis) of what skills they must develop to reach the goal.
Start with a life plan for yourself, where you are based on a vision of what you really want to achieve in life. Set up a plan with targets on how to reach this goal. Such a plan would necessarily have to go for a long time, perhaps several years. Remember to bring the whole family and your life situation (overall philosophy), and split up the plan so that it comes down to the daily details to work with.

We use the technique we learn more about the chapter Mastery, which mainly deals with the continuous relations and attention and repetition of the goals will ultimately lead to an "acceptance" or the approval of the goals of our unconscious level. Achieved this will gradually experience, and sometimes you get a sudden breakthrough - that things really start to happen the way you want.
